Rust-Oleum is one of the UK’s leading paint manufacturers with an ethos to ‘Make It Yours’, encouraging customers to give craft and DIY a go. To compete in an already busy marketplace and inspire customers to take on new projects, Rust-Oleum needed to harness content marketing to truly engage with both new and existing customers.
O worked to create the content strategy for the launch of the new lifestyle website which aimed to inspire, educate and engage its target demographic in line with the brand ethos of ‘Make It Yours’. O also supported the brand with lifestyle PR, developing a social media strategy and creating the Make It Yours print magazine. Alongside creating content organically, we collaborated with interior bloggers and lifestyle influencers to compile a spread of beautiful photography, exciting projects and useful how-to guides. As well as exposure across the UK’s top lifestyle and interior bloggers’ channels, O achieved Rust-Oleum products media coverage across lifestyle titles including; Your Home, Homemaker and Grazia magazine.
