O took over the Flymo brand communications last year, managing all the press & PR, blogger outreach, website blog content and social media campaigns.
From targeting first time gardeners with an A to Z guide to gardening to marking ‘first cut Sunday’ when everyone gets the mower out of the shed, we ensure Flymo never misses a PR opportunity. In addition to placing editorial promotions to create additional brand awareness, we were also on the road in 2017 with Flymo to the Garden Press Event and GLEE, where we welcomed leading writers from the national and trade press, garden and home interest magazines and TV and radio garden specialists. As well as securing media coverage across The Telegraph, Independent and The Sun, the team has also developed a high-impact social media and blogger relations campaign and continues to work with influencers. Since handing its social media activity to O, Flymo has seen a 49% growth in fans.
